Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Homestead, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Pennsylvania run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Homestead is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Homestead is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

1st time experience was something from Kitchen Nightmares. I'll never be back. Came in and asked to be sat at the sushi bar to order. Server came by introduced herself what felt like 10 minutes after I was sat, but was most likely 5-7 minutes. Said her name and that I'd probably see another waitress more than her, wrong. I never met the other waitress. I ordered a Maki Platter and raspberry iced tea. The platter had 3 different sushi rolls on it. No pickled ginger or wasabi was added to the plate. When I received the Platter I was asked which soy sauce I'd like and that was the last I saw of my server until I was finished eating. Meanwhile I needed my ice tea to be refilled probably 3 times, but the server wasn't there. I could've asked for ginger and wasabi, but my server never returned. Prior to my order the gentleman and lady at the sushi bar weren't making an order so she was casually eating pretzel sticks or thinly sliced carrot sticks while looking at her phone. When an order came through (most likely mine) she didn't wash her hands she just gingerly rinsed them then put on gloves. It wasn't until I was completely done with eating that I was asked if I wanted another tea whe

The sushi was good and worth the price. The Chicken & Salmon was not as good and not worth price. Chicken was dry and not hot. The server was very friendly and did her best. Seemed a bit overwhelmed. I do not think they had enough servers for the amount of customers.

Perfect birthday place for all ages! Went there for a birthday dinner and almost all tables had a birthday as well. It took a while for drinks and food to be ordered after we got seated but once the orders were in, it all went smooth. Something I had not experienced before, in any other hibachi places, was that even the chef wished my friend happy birthday without us letting her know. It was a surprise and a nice touch!

A friend and I went on Saturday for dinner. We did not do the hibachi. We sat at a booth and ordered from the menu. The atmosphere was very relaxed. Our waiter was very polite and the food was delicious. The cocktails were very nice as well. Nice portion sizes and the food was very flavorful and filling. I loved the dressing on the salad.

We had a fantastic dining experience here. From the moment we walked in, the attentive hosts and servers made us feel welcome. Our server was exceptional. She checked in frequently and provided attentive service, making us feel like valued guests throughout the meal. The hibachi chef not only prepared delicious and flavorful food but also provided an entertaining show that added to the overall dining experience. He was skilled and fun, and his personalized meal preparation made us feel like special diners. We ordered the Salmon and Scallops, Hibachi Shrimp, and Seafood Lovers from the hibachi menu, and each dish was mouthwatering. The fried rice and vegetable medley served with our meal was executed perfectly. This restaurant provided a memorable and delightful dining experience.
